Registration & Eligibility
Click 'Register Your Team' in the nav or visit the registration page. You'll fill out your team information and captain contact details, then complete payment through our secure checkout. Your spot is not confirmed until the deposit is received.
The entry fee is $1,500 per team, regardless of roster size. A non-refundable $750 deposit is due at registration to hold your spot. The remaining $750 balance is due no later than September 12, 2026.
Teams must register no later than August 27, 2026. That is 30 days before Day 1. We recommend registering early as spots are limited to 10 teams total.
Each team must have a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 10 players. All players must be listed before Day 1 begins. No additions or swaps are permitted after the roster is submitted.
No. Once your roster is submitted it is locked for the entire tournament. Only players listed on the official roster may take the field.
All players must be at least 16 years of age. Players under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver before competing.
No. Guest players are not permitted under any circumstances. Only rostered players may participate.
Game Day
All players must check in with tournament officials by 9:45 AM on Day 1 (September 26) and by 10:45 AM on Day 2 (October 3). Players who miss the deadline may not participate in that day's matches.
Your team captain will receive a full game day packet closer to the event. At minimum, all players need a signed liability waiver, valid ID, and proper footwear (cleats or turf shoes). Jerseys will be provided and must be worn during all matches.
Yes. Team jerseys are included in the entry fee and are yours to keep after the tournament.
Berkshire Community College Turf Field at Berkshire Community College, 1350 West Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201. Parking is available on site.
Group stage matches are two 20-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime. Semifinal and Final matches are two 30-minute halves. All matches are 7-a-side. There is no offside rule.
Ties stand as draws in pool play. No shootout. Both teams receive 1 point. Penalty shootouts only apply in the semifinals and final if scores are level after regulation and golden goal.
Payments & Refunds
No. The $750 deposit is non-refundable regardless of when or why a team withdraws.
The remaining balance must be paid by September 12, 2026. No refunds will be issued after this date. Teams that have not paid in full by the deadline forfeit their registration and their spot may be offered to a waitlisted team.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure Stripe checkout. No cash or checks.
Prizes & Format
1st Place: $5,000 + Champions Cup trophy. 2nd Place: $1,500 + trophy. Golden Boot (top scorer): $500 + trophy. Best Goalkeeper: $500 + trophy.
Any proceeds remaining after tournament expenses and prize payouts support the Dr. Deborah Salmon Foundation scholarship program and community initiatives. Actual distribution depends on total funds raised. More at drdeborahsalmonfoundation.orgdation. The recipient will be announced before the tournament.
10 teams split into two groups of 5 play a full round robin on Day 1. The top 2 from each group advance to the semifinals on Day 2. Semifinal winners meet in the Championship Final.
Other Questions
The tournament is held on an artificial turf field and will proceed in light to moderate rain. In the event of severe weather, tournament officials will make a decision on the day and communicate directly with team captains.
Yes, the event is open to the public. Spectators are welcome at no charge.
